Actual conversation in our house this week:
Kevin: Why are you vacuuming? You just did that two days ago.
Me: I am trying to do better. When we have a baby we are going to have to keep the floors cleaner. A baby can't crawl around in this.
Kevin: You mean a toddler. Babies don't crawl.
Me: No, it will be crawling by the time it is 3 or 4 months old.
Kevin: You have no clue either. Do you?
Me: Not a ONE!
(Insert our bursting into laughter here)

So....when do babies start crawling? Ha! And, how did we get to be 37 years old and so clueless about babies!?!

FUNNY! Toddlers are called that because they "toddle" - kind of walk around all wobbly. Babies crawl. They roll over at about 3 or 4 months and begin to crawl anywhere from 6 to 9 months usually but some skip crawling all together and go straight to cruising (holding on to furniture while trying to walk). I get dibs on getting you the "What to Expect the First Year" book which is a month-to-month guide and the only way I made it thru my 1st year with baby!

Hahahah!! I didn't know either until Carson arrived!! He crawled at 9 months but was rolling and getting around and doing the army crawl thing around 6 to 7 months. You will have PLENTY of time to prepare!!
