Easter Sunday

We went to the service at John 3:16 Ministries on our way back from a weekend with Kevin's parents. I don't think I will have the words to express the emotions and memories that flood back making the drive down that gravel driveway and sitting through a service surrounded by families that are being mended by the love of Jesus. Neither of us can help but let it take us back to the time when Kevin was there and we were the family being mended. Jesus' love is an amazing love. John 3:16 is an awesome ministry.

The ministry is ever changing to fit its growing numbers. There are new houses now and even a few new critters. There are bunnies hopping around all over the place (nice for Easter! ha), a park for the kids to play in, and chickens!! I'm not crazy about the chickens though.
This is Rex saying, "Hold on, Mom, did you see that duck? Better hold onto the lab!!" LOL!

We had praise inside today and then went outside to the garden for prayer and scripture, then to the crosses for prayer and scripture and then to the tomb for prayer and scripture.

If you know someone struggling with alcohol or drug abuse, send them to the John 3:16 Ministries website linked here. He is the way, the truth and the life.

For God so loved the world that He gave his one and only son, so that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16
